Chess Training

Chess

As a game that depends entirely on mental abilities, chess helps to develop patience, memory, and the ability to analyze, as well as increasing focus. It activates the brain in its right and left hemispheres and improves ways of thinking and dealing with events. The player acquires planning skills and develops his intuition. Furthermore, chess helps players to develop problem-solving skills and enables them to think about issues in their lives in different and distinctive ways.

In Ghirass there are two groups of children who take part in chess; beginners and advanced. Training takes place on a weekly basis alongside practicing at home with their families. Ghirass renews the courses every two months so that new children can participate and the list of participants can be modified if necessary.
