On the 25th of July, 2022, Ghirass Cultural Center hosted and participated in a chess competition. 36 kids competed in association with the Paligual and Al-Manar centers. The participants were divided into two groups, the first, for children under 12 years old, while the second group was for children under 16 years old.
Competitors scored high marks. The results are as follows:
Group 1 (under 12 years old)
-First place was awarded to Jamal Abu Lebdeh – Almanar Center.
-Second place was awarded to Karam al-Heremi – Ghirass Cultural Center
-Third place was awarded Mohammad Heremi- Ghirass Cultural Center
Group 2 (under 16 years old)
-First place was awarded to Amir al-Hremi- Ghirass Cultural Center
-Second place was awarded to Yazid Salah – Ghirass Cultural Center
-Third place was awarded to Chriss al-Hodali – Manar Center.
