Ghirass Cultural Center offers 45 children music lessons twice a week. Each child receives choir, ensemble, and musical instrument lessons. During these lessons, the children learn how to play the oud, violin, and percussion, and how to work together to make music. The children also practice singing and breathing exercises. Alongside this, weekly sessions held by Ghirass\u2019 social worker help the children focus on different social and emotional skills, and tackle issues such as bullying and self-expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Ghirass offers weekly sessions for the mothers of the music students.
